Message from the President
Shrimati Vithabai Maruti Gogavale College of Nursing
In every corner of the world, in quiet moments and critical hours, nurses stand at the frontlines of humanity. At the College of Nursing, we do not simply educate future nurses — we shape advocates of healing, stewards of dignity, and ambassadors of compassion.
This institution is more than a college. It is the living legacy of my beloved father, Late Ashok Dada Sable Sir, whose vision and service to the community continue to inspire us every day. It was his dream to establish an educational space where the people of this region — regardless of background or means — could access quality learning, build dignified lives, and earn their bread and butter with pride and purpose.
He often spoke of education as a powerful equalizer — a tool not only for personal progress, but for community upliftment. Today, as we open the doors of this College of Nursing, I feel a deep sense of fulfillment knowing that his dream is no longer just a hope — it is a reality in motion.
Ours is not a path chosen lightly. It is one that requires courage, intellect, empathy, and above all, an unshakable commitment to serve others. Here, we do more than teach—we listen, we guide, we walk beside each student as they discover the profound weight and beauty of their vocation.
Our College is built upon the belief that knowledge saves lives, and kindness sustains them. With world-class faculty, transformative clinical training, and a community grounded in purpose, we prepare our students not only for a career—but for a lifelong mission.
If you feel called to make a difference not just in medicine, but in the hearts of those you touch, you belong here.
With deep respect and warmest welcome,
Adv. Rajiv Sable
